[FOTD] She's radiant

I'm pretty sure this was another attempt to hang on to summer. I'm already over rainy days, cold weather and the sun going down so early in the afternoon. But anyways, we're not here to discuss about my problems ahahah

The other day I wanted to wear this amazing lipstick I'm totally in love with. It's one of the liquid lipsticks from Stila in the color "Como" from their summer collection. It's the perfect radiant orchid color that was so popular last year. I decided to pair it with Nabla's eyeshadow in Cattleya, which is one of my all time favourite color and I love to use it on its own, especially on top of a black base like I did this time. To deepen my crease I used Naked 2 from my Naked Basics. At the end of this post you will find a more accurate list of all the products that I used.

Sono abbastanza convinta che questo fosse il mio ennesimo tentativo di aggrapparmi all'estate e di tenerla qui con me. Visto che il giorno dopo ha iniziato a piovere, sono abbastanza convinta di non esserci riuscita. Meh. Coooomunque torniamo a parlare di questa FOTD. 

Ho iniziato applicando una base cremosa nera su tutta la palpebra, che poi ho sfumato fino alla piega dell'occhio, dove invece ho applicato Naked 2 della Naked Basics per creare profondità e sfumare la matita. Sulla base nera ho poi applicato Cattleya di Nabla, uno dei miei ombretti preferiti di sempre.
Nell'angolo interno, per illuminare, ho utilizzato Nylon di Mac, mentre sulla rima inferiore ho applicato la matita nera che poi ho sfumato aiutandomi con Cattleya. 

Sulle labbra il protagonista indiscusso di questo look, ossia il rossetto liquido di Stila nella colorazione "Como".

P2 Peel Off Base

Ho sempre volute provare una base peel off, perché sebbene io adori gli smalti glitterati, rimuoverli è un vero e proprio trauma. Tra le tante in commercio ho scelto questa perché P2 è da poco arrivato in Italia ed ero incuriosita.

I’ve always wanted to try a peel off base to use especially under glitter nail polishes, that can be a pain in the butt to remove. P2 is a new brand here in Italy, so when I saw this product I bought it, along with some other ones.

Uno smalto color malva acceso che mi ricorda molto l’autunno.

I would describe this color as a strong mauve, perfect for fall.

È da alcuni mesi che cerco uno smalto nude adatto alla mia carnagione, e credo finalmente di averlo trovato. È un nude leggermente rosato e anche la consistenza mi è sembrata molto buona.

I’ve been looking for ages for the right nude nail polish for my skintone and I think I finally found it. This P2 color is a rosy nude polish with a really nice texture. I can’t wait to try it on my nails!

CATRICE Velvet Matt Eyeshadow

010 Vanillaty Fair & 040 Al Burgundi

Chia un po’ di tempo fa parlava sul suo blog di Vanillaty Fair usato per illuminare lo sguardo e già da un po’ volevo provarlo. E’ un color crema molto discreto ma, appunto, illuminante, mentre l’altro colore è un bellissimo borgogna scuro opaco. Non vedo l’ora di utilizzarli all’interno di qualche bel trucco.

I first read about Vanillaty Fair from Chia’s blog a while ago: she used it to brighten her eyes in her daily routine and I wanted to try it so badly. The other color is a beautiful matte burgundy shade perfect for fall. I can’t wait to use them!

CATRICE Illuminating Blush
010 I am nuts about you & 030 Kiss me Ken

Catrice è una delle mie marche low cost preferite in assoluto: ho già in passato provato alcuni blush che mi sono molto piaciuti, quindi quando ho visto questi blush illuminanti non ho potuto fare a meno di prenderne un paio per provarli. Per ora sono promossissimi, colori molto belli, pigmentazione buona e soprattutto ottima durata!

Catrice is one of my fave low cost brand: I’ve tried their blushes in the past and I’ve loved them, so when I saw that they came out with illuminating blushes I immediately bought two. I like them a lot so far, the colors are really nice, they’re pigmented and most important thing, they last a long time on the skin!

Ero da un paio di settimane alla ricerca di un gel per sopracciglia più chiaro rispetto a quello di L’Orèal che ho, e ho pensato che questo fosse un ottimo prodotto da provare. Lo scovolino è piccolo e quindi permette una applicazione molto precisa; non raccoglie inoltre troppo prodotto. Promossissimo!

Since my hair is lighter, I’ve been wanting to try a brow gel lighter than the L’Orèal one that I have. I saw this one at the store and I immediately loved the wand, so I decided to try it. The wand is small and therefore really precise; it doesn’t pick up too much product either. I like it!

WET N WILD Megalast Lip Color

È da una vita che sono alla ricerca di questo specifico colore, ma ogni volta che becco uno stand WnW, è sempre finito. L’ho trovato qualche giorno fa e ora non riesco a smettere di usarlo: è un rosso ciliegia con una punta di berry che secondo me è perfetto per l’autunno. Ho già in mente un paio di look che ruotano attorno a questo rossetto, di sicuro lo vedrete presto in azione.

I’ve been wanting this specific color for ages now, but everytime I wanted to buy it, it was always out of stock. I finally found it and I can’t stop using it: it’s a cherry red with a hint of berry that I find it’s perfect for fall (again). I have a couple of looks in mind that I want to do with this lipstick, so you’ll see it in action really soon.

Infine due prodottini che son tutto fuorché adatti all’autunno. Mi piacciono un sacco gli ombretti Wet n Wild per la loro texture e l’estrema pigmentazione, e quando ho comprato queste due palette in realtà cercavo con tutta me stessa di aggrapparmi ai rimasugli dell’estate ahahah

Last but not least, two really bright palettes, not so fall-appropriate as the other products I bought. I really like Wet n Wild palettes for their texture and pigmentation, and I was trying to hold on to summer like crazy when I bought them ahahah
