[FIRST IMPRESSIONS] Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation

 

Se mi conoscete anche un po' di sicuro siete a conoscenza della mia ossessione per i prodotti per la base. Amo il makeup in generale, ma quando si parla di fondotinta non riesco proprio a smettere di comprarne sempre di nuovi. Qualche mese fa ho sentito parlare per la prima volta del fondotinta All Nighter di Urban Decay, un fondotinta waterproof, totalmente opaco e a lunghissima durata. Potevo secondo voi non comprarlo?

Non ho mai partecipato ai Dramatag prima d'ora, nonostante ce ne siano tantissimi che mi ispirano un sacco, e ho pensato che questo fosse il modo giusto per entrare nel team e per ripartire con il piede giusto. Questo post è sicuramente un vano tentativo di aggrapparmi all'estate -che oramai è passata- ma anche un modo per "fare il punto della situazione" e per condividere con voi alcune chicche che ho scoperto o riscoperto negli scorsi mesi. Iniziamo subito!

[FIRST IMPRESSIONS] URBAN DECAY NAKED SKIN ONE&DONE

Io ci provo a smettere di comprare prodotti per la base, ve lo giuro, ma è più forte di me. Complice il fatto che sto per terminare il Complexion Rescue di Bare Minerals, una delle scoperte migliori di sempre, nelle ultime settimane mi sono molto guardata intorno e ho trovato un paio di prodottini interessanti per la base che non vedevo l'ora di provare. Il primo, di cui voglio parlarvi oggi, è l'Hybrid Complexion Perfector One&Done di Urban Decay, ultimo arrivato nella famiglia Naked Skin. L'intera linea Naked Skin a me piace molto: il fondotinta è tra i miei preferiti di sempre e il correttore è davvero fantastico, quindi è stato davvero facile lasciarmi convincere a provare anche questo nuovo prodotto.

La mia capacità di programmare le cose e di attenermi ai piani è davvero imbarazzante, ne sono consapevole, ma questa volta voglio provare ad essere costante.

Sperando di riuscire ad essere il più puntuale possibile anche nelle prossime settimane, passo ad introdurre il post di oggi. Sì, parlo del Lipsticks Of The Week, tag ideato da Itsfrancifra che potete ritrovare sui social tramite l'hashtag #lipsticksoftheweek. Penso sia un ottimo modo per chi come me ha tanti rossetti di imparare a sfruttarli tutti senza limitarsi ai soliti 4-5 che per comodità o per preferenza vengono poi usati tutti i giorni. Onestamente ho paura che questo tag mi istigherà all'acquisto di tanti altri rossetti, ma sono anche estremamente curiosa di vedere la selezione che settimana dopo settimana proporranno le varie partecipanti al tag *_*

Da blush-addicted quale sono non potevo di certo lasciarmi sfuggire questo fantastico tag! Non è stato facile rispondere alle varie domande, specialmente per alcune ci ho dovuto pensare davvero tanto, però mi sono divertita un sacco a ravanare nella mia collezione alla ricerca dei vari colori e dei vari prodotti. Nel miglior spirito dei tag, inoltre, ho anche riscoperto delle gemme che avevo dimenticato. Iniziamo subito!

[TAG] Products I love and repurchase

I was tagged by Alice in this tag started by Biancaneve Makeup and Parola di Deirdre in which I will show you my most used, loved and repurchased products for five different cathegories. Of course I failed at sharing just one product, especially for the makeup cathegory, but I hope you don't mind. Those posts are my faves because you can find some pretty interesting gems to buy and love. Let's start!

Bodycare

I must admit that when it comes to bodycare, I'm not really faithful to a single product. I haven't found my ride or die product, so I keep trying out different stuff. One product that I discovered about a year ago and that I keep repurchasing, though, is the Frozen Verbena Body Scrub by & Other Stories. I like the way it smells and the fact that it leaves my skin incredibly soft. It's a sugar scrub therefore is less abrasive and more suitable for my sensitive skin.
I also love the Yves Rocher Shower Gels. They smell extremely good and the cream is hydrating on the skin.

Facial Skincare

I have quite a few goodies to share with you for this cathegory. Let's start with the Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Cream, my best friend during the colder months. I discovered this brand thanks to Dramanmakeup and I couldn't be happier. This cream gives my skin the perfect level of hydration and I honestly can't live without it.

Another all time favorites is the Garnier Micellar Water. I've gone through at least five bottles and I keep repurchasing it without thinking. It does its job and it's affordable, so you can't really go wrong. 

The Addolcilabbra from Alkemilla are my favorites when it comes to chapsticks. They're available in lots of different flavors and each time I try a new one. Amazing!
A recent discovery is the Idrolato di Rosmarino by Biofficina Toscana. Since I started using this product I noticed that my pores are a little bit smaller and my skin is just clearer. I've just finished my first bottle and I bought two more bottles, I love it so much.
Last but not least, the Face Protect Lotion SPF50 by Mac is a must have all year round, but especially during summer. I can't go out in the sun without wearing sunscreen and I find this one perfect to use under my makeup because it doesn't make me oily and it's a good base.

Haircare

For hair I only have two products to share. The first one is a shampoo I discovered last year; it's from L'Oreal and it's the Volumetry Shampoo for fine hair. Again, this product does its job perfectly, giving volume to my fine hair. For the first time I can feel the difference whenever I use other shampoos, and that's when you know something is really good. The other product is the Magic CC Cream from Collistar. It's a colored mask that nourishes and colors your hair without damages. Especially with red hair I find this product really helpful to keep the color from looking dull and lifeless.

Makeup

Finally, onto makeup. I have lots of things to share for this cathegory, as you can imagine. Let's start with two mascaras. The first one I discovered towards the end of 2015 but it has become my favorite even in such a small amount of time. I'm talking about the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. I like the way the brush curves my lashes and how my lashes look whenever I wear it. It's almost like I'm wearing falsies, I swear! The other all time favorite mascara is the Voluminous Carbon Black mascara from L'Oreal. I've been using this mascara for years now and it's still my ride or die/can't live without mascara.
Another product that I keep repurchasing is the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner. I love the tip of this eyeliner, it makes so easy to draw a perfect wing. It's also one of the blackest eyeliner I've ever tried and it's waterproof, so that means it won't transfer on your lids. 

I've probably gone through 5 or 6 tubes of the famous Mac Pro Longwear concealer, and I just repurchased another one. It's the best to conceal dark circles or spots and it's probably the concealer that creases the least on me.
Makeup Forever HD foundation is a staple in my collection. It's my go-to foundation when I need a flawless face or when I know pictures will be taken. I even have two different shades -for when I'm "tan" and my usual shade is too light - that's commitment for me, believe me.
Last but not least, the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray has been a must have for me. I use this setting spray both before and after doing my makeup and it helps with the longevity of my base; it's also great to avoid the "powdery" look.

Nails

For nails I only have one staple, the Quick Dry Top Coat by Deborah Milano. It really works and I can't do my manicure without using this product. If you haven't tried it you need to, you won't regret it!

[MOST PLAYED] 2015 Most Played [LIPS]

Lipstick is my favourite makeup item. In 2015 I bought way too many lipsticks and loved way too many formulations, but today I'm going to show you a selection of the best ones that I tried.

Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks

I'm not the biggest fan of lipsticks that come in a stylo bullet, but the Revolution Lipsticks are really good. I only own a couple of colors, my favourite is Turn On, which is a mauvy/pinky shade, a "my-lips-but-better" kind of shade. The darker shades are really nice too, but they go on a little bit more "glossy" for my taste, so I usually blot them or use a light translucent powder to make them more matte.

Nars Audacious Lipsticks

Probably the best lipstick I've ever tried. I only have one shade but I plan on buying more. Those lipsticks are matte but yet extremely hydrating on the lips and they last forever without fading. The shade I own is called Raquel and it's a perfect nude shade that doesn't wash me out like most nude lipsticks. The Audacious line is on the pricey side (30€ each lipstick) but they're amazing and you wont regret buying them!

Nabla Diva Crime

Probably the "drugstore" version of the Audacious lipsticks. Those lipsticks are lightweight, full coverage and completely matte on the lips. They're not drying at all and they feel velvety and comfortable after the application. I like them also because if they start fading you can re-apply the product straight from the bullet without it looking strange or gross on the lips. The shades are amazing and extremely pigmented. My most used one is Alter Ego, but I also used Underground a lot.

Sephora Rouge Lipsticks

Another drugstore favorite with an immense shade range. Sephora has some pretty cool lip products: those lipsticks are really easy to apply, moisturizing on the lips but they also last for hours. The finish is not completely matte - it's more of a satin finish, which makes it easier to re-apply throughout the day.

Sephora Cream Lip Stains

Old favourite of mine, my best and most used red ever. The Sephora Lip Stains are amazing liquid lipsticks that feel comfortable on the lips but with a full coverage and matte look. The shades are not many and I wish they had more colors -especially darker ones, but it's worth mentioning because it's a budget-friendly alternative to the more expensive liquid lipsticks that came out this year. The shade I wore the most is Always Red.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks

I featured those liquid lipsticks in my "15 beauty discoveries of 2015" because I love them a lot. As I said in my previous post, these are not the most comfortable lipsticks to wear if you wear your lip products all day long, because after 5-6 hours they tend to fade (it depends on the shade), but the result on the lips and  the shade range make it worth trying them. 

Mac Lipsticks

Trusty old Mac lipsticks. In 2015 I was so overwhelmed by other brands and I didn't really buy many Mac lipsticks, but I can't lie, I like them too much. My most used one is Flat Out Fabolous, that I used to death during summer.

Today I wanted to show you my most used face products of 2015. Base products are my favourites, I love trying out new foundations, new bronzers and especially new blushes, but I managed to narrow it down to my very favourites of the year. Thanks to goldenvi0let for the amazing idea of #TeamMostPlayed!

Makeup Forever Hydrating Primer (36,00€)

In 2015 I discovered the amazing world of primers. I didn't like them because I tried the wrong ones, so after finding out that Makeup Forever was coming out with a whole range of primers and after hearing Jaclyn Hill raving about them, I had to give them a chance. I decided to buy the Hydrating version because my skin was acting up and was a lot drier than usual. This primer is amazing and I still use it a lot, especially with long lasting foundations: it helps making the product stick to the skin without enphasizing the dry patches on the face. It also helps giving the foundation a nice and healthy look throughout the day. It's totally worth the money if you have dry skin or need an extra boost of hydration, especially during winter.

Max Factor Facefinity Primer 

This is my budget-friendly pick for this cathegory. This primer was part of my collection since the beginning of the year, but I only started using it in Spring. The Facefinity Primer is completely different from the MUFE one: as the name suggests, this helps the longevity of the makeup and it also provides SPF20, which is always a bonus, especially if your moisturizer doesn't have SPF. It's totally comparable to the more expensive primers like the Smashbox ones in terms of performance, so if you're looking for a good primer definitely try this one.

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray (26,50€)

I think I've gone through at least 10 bottles of this setting spray in the past years, no kidding. This is the perfect ending to every makeup: it keeps your makeup looking fresh and flawless all day (or all night), it gets rid of the powdery look and makes everything blend better together. I tried other ones but this is still the best one. 

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Foundation (34,90€)

This has been my favourite since the day it launched: it's a light and weightless foundation perfect for everyday use if your skin doesn't need a lot of coverage. It gives a natural and radiant finish that looks like skin and makes people wonder if you've just returned from a vacation. I usually set my T-zone with powder when I use this foundation, but if your skin is dry you'll be able to wear it even without powder.

Benefit Hello Flawless Foundation (36,00€)

You'll see a pattern in my foundation picks, I'm sure. My skin is pretty good even without makeup but I'm pale and sometimes I look a little bit dull, so what I look for the most is radiance and luminosity. This Benefit foundation gives a medium coverage with a radiant finish that lasts all day. It also has SPF so I can skip the extra step in my morning routine. 

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue (28,90€)

My holy grail, my top favourite of 2015. This is my perfect base, people always compliment me for my skin whenever I wear it. Again we're talking about a medium coverage base that gives a natural and healthy look. It's a gel formula so it also provides hydration and it's perfect for people with dry or combination skin. I have combination skin and the Complexion Rescue always lasts all day on me with just a bit of powder on my T-zone, so you should be safe. Definitely try it if you're looking for a new base, you wont regret it!

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer (19,20€)

Another all time favourite of mine, I love this concealer. It doesn't crease on my undereye area and it provides a full coverage, perfect for dark circles but also for random spots on your face. Sometimes I use it as a foundation -kind of making my own tinted moisturizer- especially when I only have 10 minutes in the morning to get ready.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

Towards the end of the year I discovered other concealers that I've been really liking a lot, even more than this one, but I've used the Fit Me Concealer almost all year long, so I had to mention it in this post. The formula is a little bit drier than the MAC one, but the lasting power is just as good. It's a nice concealer both for the undereye area and the rest of the face.

Too Faced Primed and Poreless Loose Powder (29,00€)

I heard so many good things about this powder from fellow bloggers, so I decided to try it and I'm glad I did. I don't particularly like loose powders but this one is worth the extra time I need to apply it. It keeps my skin matte but not flat and powdery, locking in foundation and concealer all day long. I didn't notice a big difference on my pores but to be honest it's not my main concern. 

I bought the Soap and Glory Solar Powder (£11.00) when I was in London in December 2014 and I've used it for at least 8 months straight. I'm pretty fair and it's not easy for me to find the perfect shade of bronzer that doesn't make me look like I'm an orange alien. This is perfect to bronze up the skin. It has two different shades, so you can customise your perfect bronzer. I've used the Solar Powder until I found the Kiko Perfecting Bronzer. This product was part of the Rebel Romantic collection (in my opinion one of the best collections Kiko has ever made). I like this product for the same reasons as the Solar Powder: the shade is perfect for my light complexion, the product is really blendable and it lasts all day on the skin.

As for blushes, I feel like I've been using so many different ones this year, but I always go back to the same shades. My perfect everyday blush is Urban Decay 8 hours Afterglow Blush in the shade Fetish (29.90€). I've discovered this product in the second half of 2015 but I've used it a lot. When I don't know which shade I want to wear, or when I have heavy makeup on my eyes, I always go for this blush that gives my cheeks a natural flush. Another favorite of mine is MAC Blush in Peaches (23.00€). As the name suggests, this blush is a nice peachy shade. It's intense and long lasting, but do not be scared, you can build the intensity so you can both have a natural look or a more intense one. Last blush I loved and used a lot this year is Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Radiant Magenta (35.00€). The thing I like the most about this blush is that it lasts all day without fading. Even after 10 hours my blush is still perfect and I am planning on buying more shades of this formulation.

[FACE OF THE DAY] Underground

Ciao a tutti!

All'inizio della settimana, dopo una serie di sfortunati eventi, ho finalmente ricevuto il mio ordine Nabla contenente parte della collezione Artika. Sono sicura che prima o poi arriverò anche a scrivere una recensione sensata dei prodotti che ho acquistato, però intanto inizio a mostrarvi qualche look, che penso sia la cosa che mi viene meglio.

OVVIAMENTE non potevo non iniziare con lo spatasciarmi in faccia Underground, il rossetto più scuro della collezione. E' un colore molto particolare, un viola scuro intenso e freddo che mancava nella mia collezione. Sono una amante dei rossetti scuri, trovo che mi diano carattere e sono onestamente quelli con cui mi trovo più a mio agio, quindi Underground sono sicura che nei prossimi mesi riceverà una smodata quantità di amore.

Una volta scelto il rossetto, son passata a truccare gli occhi. Non avevo un'idea precisa di cosa realizzare, quindi ho iniziato a creare profondità nella piega dell'occhio con Narciso e poi Mimesis di Nabla. Sulla palpebra mobile ho sovrapposto Cattleya e Lilac Wonder, sempre di Nabla, e ho utilizzato Frozen per illuminare l'angolo interno. Ho infine creato una riga di eyeliner non particolarmente spessa con l'eyeliner numero 110 di Kiko. Sulla rima inferiore ho utilizzato la stessa sequenza di colori, focalizzandomi sulla parte esterna e scurendo l'attaccatura delle ciglia.

[FACE OF THE DAY] Burnt Pepper

Ciao a tutti!

Oggi vi propongo un altro look in cui il protagonista assoluto è Supreme di Nabla. E' più forte di me, adoro questo ombretto e se potessi lo utilizzerei ogni singolo giorno. Qui l'ho steso su tutta la palpebra con un pennello piatto, sfumando i bordi nella piega dell'occhio e aiutandomi con Burnt Pepper di Mac, un blush rosso/terracotta caldo. Ho creato poi profondità con Camelot, sempre di Nabla, e ho illuminato l'angolo interno con Futura (again, di Nabla). 

Sul viso ho utilizzato l'Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation di Tarte, acquisto recente che sto molto apprezzando in termini di coprenza e durata e il correttore Liquid Camouflage di Catrice. Ho scaldato l'incarnato con il bronzer Chocolate Soleil di Too Faced e come blush ho utilizzato Peaches di Mac. Sulle labbra, Balkis di Nabla.

[FACE OF THE DAY] Smoky palette

Ciao a tutti!

Oggi vi propongo il primo look che ho realizzato con la Naked Smoky di Urban Decay acquistata oramai da qualche settimana. Mi ispiravano un sacco i grigi e volevo assolutamente realizzare un look dai toni freddi, giusto per cambiare un po'.

Dopo aver applicato un primer, ho iniziato a sfumare nella piega dell'occhio Combust per facilitare l'applicazione dei colori successivi. Sulla palpebra mobile ho applicato con un pennellino piatto Dagger, il grigio più scuro presente nella palette, lasciando libero il centro della palpebra, dove ho successivamente applicato Slanted, il grigio più chiaro. Ho scurito leggermente l'angolo esterno e l'attaccatura delle ciglia con Black market e poi ho utilizzato l'eyeliner di Stila per creare una riga bella drammatica (strano, non se l'aspettava nessuno!!). Non contenta, nella piega dell'occhio ho applicato Cattleya di Nabla, per dare una sfumatura più rosata al trucco.
Ho mantenuto il trucco del viso abbastanza leggero, facendo un leggero contouring con il Bronzer Chocolate Soleil di Too Faced e applicando il blush Fetish di Urban Decay sugli zigomi, poco sopra al bronzer. Sulle labbra ho applicato il Melted Peony di Too Faced.

[MOST PLAYED] November most played

Novembre è stato un mese rapidissimo: non scherzo quando dico che mi sembra di aver festeggiato Halloween giusto ieri, e ora siamo già in modalità Natale. Che ansia. Brrrr.

Anyway, siamo qui per parlare dei preferiti del mese. Mi accodo all'iniziativa del #TeamMostPlayed di goldenvi0let e vi offro alla fine del post una vagonata di deliziosi biscottini per festeggiare questo post *__* Iniziamo! 

Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation

Ho tirato fuori dalla mia collezione questo fondotinta circa tre settimane fa e mi è subito tornato in mente il motivo principale per cui lo adoro. E' un fondotinta leggero e mediamente coprente che garantisce un effetto "naturale" e quasi radioso. Mi piace un sacco per i giorni in cui voglio truccarmi ma non in maniera impegnativa, quando la mia pelle non ha bisogno di tantissima coprenza ma solo di essere uniformata. 

Nabla Crème Shadows

Vi ho già abbondantemente parlato dei nuovi ombretti in crema di Nabla, ma non potevo esimermi dal citarli anche in questo post perché sono stati effettivamente tra i prodotti che ho usato maggiormente a novembre. In foto vedete Caffeine, che sto usando con una costanza quasi spaventosa. Lo applico con un pennello e lo stratifico fino a quando non raggiungo l'intensità che desidero, poi sfumo nella piega dell'occhio -sempre con lo stesso pennello- e in meno di 5 minuti riesco a creare un trucco smoky che dura fino a sera.
Qui potete leggere la recensione e vedere gli swatches dei quattro colori che ho acquistato, mentre qui potete vedere uno dei look che ho realizzato con Supreme. Siete ancora in dubbio se comprarli o meno? Serve davvero che vi dica che ne vale la pena e che di certo non ve ne pentirete? No, vero?

Stila Liquid Lipstick in Aria

Sogno questo rossetto liquido di Stila da EONI, ma in un modo o nell'altro non sono mai riuscita a comprarlo fino al mese scorso, quando su Beautybay ho beccato uno dei kit natalizi più belli di sempre. E' un colore difficile da descrivere, è una specie di magenta/malva scuro, un colore certamente molto particolare e fantastico che non avevo nella mia collezione e che trovo adatto per questi mesi freddi -ma anche per i mesi caldi, su, non prendiamoci in giro-.

Pupa I'm Matt Lip Fluid in 003

I rossetti liquidi di Pupa sono stati una grande scoperta del 2015: si stendono facilmente e aderiscono bene alle labbra, la gamma colori è ampia e molto interessante e soprattutto la durata è molto buona senza che il prodotto secchi le labbra. Questo mese ho usato tantissimo il numero 003 della collezione natalizia Stay Gold, la tonalità Charming Burgundy. Si tratta di un bel rosso scuro dal sottotono freddo che ha quasi dei riflessi magenta. Qui lo potete vedere all'opera. Non è fantastico?

Svariate settimane fa ho deciso di provare il Perfecting Bronzer di Kiko, parte della collezione Rebel Romantic, fomentata anche dal packaging rose gold strafigo. Al centro della cialda c'è una cipria perfezionante rosata il cui scopo è quello di donare un effetto mat luminoso al viso. Su quest'ultima cosa ho i miei dubbi, nel senso che non so quanto la cipria influisca sul risultato complessivo del prodotto, ma il bronzer in sè mi piace davvero tanto. La tonalità è perfetta per me che sono palliduccia, non troppo aranciata ma nemmeno troppo spenta; l'effetto è naturale e soprattutto modulabile, in base al momento della giornata o a quanto volete sembrare "baciate dal sole".

Signore e signori, il mascara della mia vita, la migliore scoperta del 2015. Questo mascara è FENOMENALE, le mie ciglia sono fantastiche quando lo uso: le allunga, le incurva (cosa che il 90% dei mascara che ho provato fino ad ora nella mia vita non fa) e soprattutto non tende a perdere l'effetto col passare delle ore. Appena l'ho aperto ero dell'idea che la formula fosse un po' troppo "bagnata" per i miei gusti, ma dopo circa 1-2 settimane, quando il prodotto si è leggermente seccato, ho capito che sarebbe stato amore eterno. Se avete delle buone ciglia in partenza vi consiglio assolutamente di provarlo, potrebbe essere una rivelazione anche per voi!!

Ed è tutto, pochi prodottini ma davvero molto molto amati. Quali sono i prodotti che avete invece utilizzato maggiormente voi durante quest'ultimo mese? C'è qualcosa che devo ASSOLUTAMENTE provare? Fatemi sapere nei commenti :)

April Favorites | I preferiti di Aprile

Un post dei preferiti – più nello specifico i preferiti di aprile – segna il mio ritorno sul blog. Non voglio neanche iniziare a parlare della mia assenza o di quanto mi impegnerò d’ora in poi, preferisco i fatti alle parole. E poi ho l’impressione che questo post sarà lungherrimo di suo, quindi non voglio aggiungere altre parole inutili.

Questo mese a dire il vero non ho tantissimi preferiti, complici anche le vacanze di Pasqua trascorse a casa in Puglia (e il limite di peso alla valigia). I pochi prodotti di cui vi parlerò, in compenso, sono davvero eccezionali.

 

Shampoo riflessi dorati Yves Rocher

Iniziamo dai capelli. I miei capelli – biondo cenere naturali ma oramai tinti da svariati anni di mille varianti di biondo – necessitano di prodotti che siano il più naturale possibile. Sembra facile trovarne di buoni, ma vi assicuro che non è così. Ecco perché, quando ho visto per la prima volta questo shampoo, ho deciso che sì, valeva la pena provarlo. Non contiene schifezze, è adatto ai capelli biondi e contiene camomilla, in grado di schiarire i capelli o comunque di accentuare i riflessi biondi delle mèches. E’ un ottimo shampoo, oramai lo uso da un paio di mesi e sono sempre più felice di averlo acquistato. Ha inoltre un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, che lo rende ancora più appetibile.

 

Instant eye makeup remover di Sephora

Ho afferrato al volo –letteralmente- questo struccante mentre cercavo di sfuggire alle innumerevoli commesse di Sephora che cercavano di placcarmi. L’ho portato con me in vacanza al posto di Bioderma e me ne sono innamorata. Strucca benissimo qualsiasi cosa in pochissimi istanti, senza lasciare la zona troppo secca o, al contrario, troppo oleosa. L’ho usato principalmente sugli occhi, ma funziona benissimo anche sul resto del viso. È uno struccante fantastico, migliore anche – a mio parere – di Bioderma. Di sicuro lo ricomprerò.

 

Fondotinta Naked Skin Urban Decay, tonalità 1.0

Amore, tanto amore. Questo fondotinta è uno dei miei preferiti di sempre, anche se in realtà è un acquisto recente. È un fondo molto leggero ed ha una consistenza estremamente liquida. La coprenza è media e l’effetto finale è luminoso. Nonostante io preferisca fondi dall’effetto più opaco, trovo che questo sia adatto per la primavera e l’estate, stagioni in cui io stessa cerco di usare meno prodotti possibili sul viso.

Io sono letteralmente ossessionata dai blush. Trovo che siano fondamentali per qualsiasi look, e amo cambiare e sperimentare. Il blush Tipsy di Tarte l’ho preso l’anno scorso in America e per un po’ di tempo non l’ho usato, spaventata dalla consistenza, oltre che dal colore molto acceso. Una volta scoperto il modo giusto per applicarlo – il Multitask Brush di Real Techniques e non uno Stippling Brush, come molte consigliavano – me ne sono innamorata sempre di più. Si tratta di una polvere finissima che dona colore ma anche luminosità, pur essendo opaca. Ha una durata di circa 8-10 ore ed è perfetto per i giorni in cui siete fuori casa per tanto tempo e non avete voglia di ritoccare il trucco. Tarte è ora venduta su qvc.uk, quindi sono sicura che vedrete presto nuovi post a riguardo sul blog.

L’altro blush che ho amato questo mese è Luminoso di Milani. Ho preso anche questo l’anno scorso mentre ero in America, e non l’ho più abbandonato. E’ un color corallo con microglitter dorati che però non accentuano i pori dilatati o qualsiasi altra imperfezione. Questo blush dona luminosità al viso, l’effetto “sano” che tutti –io per prima- vogliamo ottenere.

Illamasqua Tango

Questo ombretto Illamasqua l’ho comprato per caso qualche tempo fa, senza aspettarmi granchè. Ho finito per innamorarmene (lo so, tanti innamoramenti in questo post, ma sono pur sempre i miei prodotti preferiti, no?). La scrivenza è fantastica, funziona benissimo senza primer e già con la prima passata il colore è bello intenso. Quando sono di fretta e non ho tempo/voglia di fare chissà cosa sugli occhi, applico Tango su tutta la palpebra mobile e sfumo nella piega con un pennello pulito, in modo da diffondere il colore e sfumarne i bordi. Bam, minimo sforzo, massimo risultato.

Elf Stippling Brush

Da quando ho acquistato questo pennello (circa due mesi fa) non è passato un giorno senza che io l’abbia utilizzato. È un pennello multiuso perfetto da usare dopo aver applicato bronzer e blush, per uniformare il tutto ed evitare le strie di colore. È ottimo anche per stendere il fondotinta, se volete un effetto molto leggero ed una coprenza medio-bassa.

Per quanto riguarda i preferiti random, non poteva mancare Once Upon a Time. Ho recuperato le puntate della terza stagione che mi mancavano e OVVIAMENTE ho fangirlato un sacco su Emma Swan e Captain Hook. Quanto sono cucciolini insieme? <3

Il giorno di Pasquetta. Non perché abbia fatto chissà cosa, ma perché sono andata a mare. Non vedo l’ora di poter fare il bagno, l’estate è la mia stagione preferita in assoluto!

 

Ad aprile ho finalmente assecondato la mia pazzia e ho colorato i capelli – o meglio, le punte. Avrei tanto voluto tingerli tutti, ma la parte razionale del mio cervello me l’ha impedito. Poco male, così mi piacciono da morire! Li ho già lavati alcune volte e il colore non ha perso intensità, quindi yay!
